Good advise. Pulling the battery connections for 15 minutes should reset most adaptations and will allow you ECU to adjust more airflow across the MAF. That said, that pesky MAF is finicky as hell. Be VERY careful removing and installing it for cleaning. I've definitely broken one just trying to clean it and it ain't cheap...
