Just FYI, I have headers no cats in my car and until I put my o2 sim in I was getting p2096 and p2098 as well as the catalyst inefficiency codes. The only way I was able to clear those codes (p2096 & p2098) was to do a full adaptations reset or else they would just come back after exactly two driving sessions. So even if you have your DME re flashed to disregard your rear o2's you may still need to have your adaptions reset untill those codes will go away.

Good advise. Pulling the battery connections for 15 minutes should reset most adaptations and will allow you ECU to adjust more airflow across the MAF. That said, that pesky MAF is finicky as hell. Be VERY careful removing and installing it for cleaning. I've definitely broken one just trying to clean it and it ain't cheap...
