when the yellow light is on after startup, it's a good indication that there is a tire just on the edge of 4psi. as you drive, the air inside the tire heats up and increases the pressure enough to fall inside the safe driving range in compairison to the user-set pressure.
Yes, that is how the TPMS works. However, i don't have the TPMS sensors on my BBS RS-GT so the light will come on all the time. I could try those suggestions above but it was easier just by placing a piece of tape over it.
