He was before my time but I've seen his name all over the BMW forums. His last post on Bimmerpost was made 02-01-2013, on Bimmerfest it's 03-19-2013 and Bimmerforums is 01-08-2012. He probably doesn't own a BMW anymore, but somehow I think that's unlikely. His profile shows that he's 72, so maybe health problems?
I'm sure there are older members on here who knew him in real life so maybe they will chime in.
