Wow, that's high praise, indeed--thanks!
I well remember how blown away I was by his first series, on the Civil War. It remains the most outstanding documentary I've ever seen.
Lets see, if I were Ken Burns' boss, what sort of project would I assign to him? Probably a documentary on BMW sports cars!
