Interestingly, I may have a theory on that. Your TPMS failure may actually be related to your headlight "problems." The ballast on modern HIDs work on converting direct current to alternating current, and sometimes a failing ballast sends out radio interference signals during the conversion process. The radio interference pattern can interfere with the TPMS signals.
