I can offer this observation. When I bought my 2006 Z4 3.0Si from the US back in 2009, it had 19,000 miles on it and one year of original warranty left. It was loaded with options, save for heated seats and nav. Compare that to a car I found in Canada which was a 2003 Z4 that would have cost me $4,000 more, had more than twice the mileage, a lot fewer options, the older less powerful 3 litre engine and no warranty.

On second thought, i think the price difference was $14,000.........
