Does anybody know anything on this issue? Any manufacturers' note stating not to mix non run flat rims with run flat tires?
Wow, bumping a 5 year old thread. Nice.

There are no functional differences between the rims that's got run-flats installed, and there are no functional differences between run-flat tires when it comes to wheels. The "myth" about how you can't install non-run-flat tires on "run-flat" rims and vice versa is just that. A myth.
