having just come in from taking off the top rad cover, im pretty certain i can to the hose at least, im not to fussed about removing the filter as yet as on further inspection its very very clean, but in term of the hose, take the bumper off isnt going to make it any easer for me to get it through that small opening, its going to mean some grazed knucles but im going to do this from the top, however if i need to remove the filter, your right, its impossible without removing the bumper. Feeding a new hose in however looks entirely possible (LOL, i say that now!!!, lol, )

while im in their im going to make a filter "support" that bolts to the cross brace behind the grill, theirs alread a nice spare hole drilled, so im going to use or make a cruved bracket to hold the filter in the location i want, not happy with it loose in the spot...
