No bribe required. Simply pointed to the fun stuff over here! John's friend -- conveniently named Ron--has, as John pointed out--a 912 with not just any old Scoob engine--it's an STI engine IIRC. 2,100 lbs with 300 HP 300 TQ (assuming stock boost).
