Lots of 240Z memories here.

It brings back memories for me too. My neighbor had one when I was a kid (several years before I could drive), lots of mods, a good number of rides, and it totally captivated me. That and the iconic 911 were really what got my attention, not the muscle cars.

Every now and then I see a really good 240 specimen up for sale, and have to keep myself from buying it. But I don't have the garage space, and these babies need to be cared for. If we had the space, we'd have one, and then Krissi and I would fight over who got to drive it! (She's a big 240Z, and classic British sports car fan.)

Now that I think about it, the Z4 was a natural "go to" car. Why I didn't see that, and buy a Z4 off the bat! I don't know. Duh. At heart, I guess I'm still that kid who wanted the 240Z. That probably explains the very odd attachment I have with my car.
