How deep? I'm running -2.0 front, -1.8 rear.

I kinda melted up the front and rear of my Sumitomo HTR Z IIIs my last few sessions on the track (instructors go a long way to improving smoothness and speed ).

Wear was a bit more toward the outside edge and more toward the outside middle (not the very middle which would probably mean too much air). No rollover. Running 39/39 hot, and I asked my instructor and I was not overdriving the tires.

Guess it's tire to buy a combination tire probe pyrometer/IR gun to keep track of tire and brake temps (best tool from what I read for checking pressure and alignment settings and ensuring the brakes aren't entering the danger zone Hack and Lucid speak about).

Maybe I need to take the OP's route and get a set of track wheels/tires rather than melting the hell out of my street tires too. $$$!!!
