I got my 2.5i with 45k miles on it because it was in my price range. I was actually looking to buy a used corolla (don't judge! I just wanted a reliable car that I could afford outright without loans). It just so happened that in my searches, a Z4 came up.
I never thought that I could even begin to afford a car like the Z4, so it took a while. I then looked hard into reliability and found that the Z4 is actually a pretty reliable beast.
I think at this point the Z4 had won, I tried to find a car, ANY car, that looked that good. The more cars I looked at, the more they all looked boring and the same. I can really only name a handful of cars that look as amazing, and they're all really expensive.
The kicker was I found one that was super clean, and the owner had been selling it for 2+ years, so I was able to talk him down a ton (especially since he wanted to get into a 80k+ car).
And now i'm obsessed... and when I find it, I'll have an M
