You can replace the bushings separately. It is easy if you have the proper tools. You'll need:
1. New bushings already pressed into the brackets- $101 after shipping from Bavarian Autosport, and they even included hand wipes!
2. Gear puller - $40 at Sears or Autozone
3. Jack stands and jack
4. Socket wrench and metric socket set
5. Dawn dish washing soap
Jack up the car and take off the aluminum panel and plastic cover to access the control arms. Unbolt the old bushings, use a gear puller to get them off of the control arm, and then put the new ones on by lubing them up with some Dawn dish washing soap. Bolt them on, bolt the panels back on, and you're done. Piece of cake. I would NEVER pay the dealership to do this - it's that easy. It took me about 30 minutes the first time I ever did it. Now, I can probably do it in 10 minutes.
You'll notice a huge improvement in handling. The car won't wander as much on the highway and is more predictable at the limits.
