All black interior pieces finally acquired. It was really surprising how soon BMW has discontinued many of these parts for the E85/86. I did luck out with sourcing many of the parts though from a Z4 that unfortunately met its end with only 32K miles, so parts were in like-new condition, esp the carpets.
Seats were last to arrive. Nappa leather is a must for all my cars - so unfortunately I had to get the M seats for a premium (just wish they didn’t have the M emblem since I obviously don’t have an Z4M). It’s amazing how well they hold up compared to all other BMW leather options.
Will start the swap this weekend and hoping to document the entire process. Can’t wait to get rid of the beige interior. I had to have the Z4 in Hellrot Red - so unfortunately this was inevitable.
