ESC had their water pump kits on sale so I ordered one for my car. I did an online chat with one of the employees, because it wasn’t clear if it was a Pierburg OEM pump in the kit. I was told it was. I called customer service and was told all OEM parts are made in China but I can get one stamped Pierburg for $35 more. Has anyone else had this issue with ESC?

In general I’ve stopped buying from ECS, unless it’s for a genuine BMW (OE) part where their pricing (plus free shipping) is hard to beat. They’re gotten so big that dealing with customer service can be frustrating sometimes. For OEM, I just go with FCP, it’s little more expensive but their lifetime replacement has saved me over time, plus they’re local. Great company and employees are genuine passionate.
Sorry I know that doesn’t help ya with your specific problem but don’t they have a no hassle return policy?
