OE, Supersprint, Rogue Engineering & RPI Muffler Comparison

Took advantage of having multiple sets of mufflers in the garage to do side by side comparisons. The sound & build characteristics was unique to each brand.
We all have or have had OE to compare at some point, so I won't get into the pros/cons there.

Rogue El diablo
Pros:
  • Beautiful build quality, nicest welds of the bunch
  • Embossed logo
  • Nice loud raw sound, but less loud/aggressive than the RPI GT mufflers
  • Good tip size. Bigger than OE, but no danger of beating up the bumper cutouts
Cons:
  • Sagging balls issue. Bummer on lowered cars because these bad boys hang just as low as OE
  • 2nd worst drone levels of the buch

RPI GT
Pros:
  • Best tip configuration IMO. Follows the curve of the bumper better than any.
  • Best exhaust sound IMO. Raw motsport carnage to put it mildly. Screaming Harpies upon accellaration + glorious burbles and pops upon downshifting/decellaration all to make you feel like you are driving a real race car
  • Lightest by far
  • Good build quality
Cons:
  • Worst drone of the bunch
  • No off switch. Always 100% raw

Supersprint Powerloop
Pros:
  • Drone is basically none existent
  • Most amount of available adjustment during installation
  • Running these mufflers highlight the engine noise rather than drowning it out
  • Good build quality
  • Subtle deep tone
Cons:
  • A little on the quite side
  • Though they look good, the rolled tip design is not as nice looking as Rogue and RPI tip construction IMO
  • Very little weight savings. Mainly an aesthetic and sound upgrade from OE
