Not a bite issue but they won't get up to optimal temps for normal street driving, so you'll actually have less stopping power over stock pads.
Search around for the DIY but if you plan on doing it solo get a bleeder. Else you'll need a 2nd person to do it the traditional way by pumping the pedal.
