These Fortunes really interest me. For a street application with 2-3 track days a year - with the goal of dialing out understeer - does 550/550 make sense to you (thinly crappy L.A. area roads)? Perhaps even 500/500. I'm not seeing 500/600 as perhaps ideal for what I want. FWIW I have H&R coil overs in my C63 and find them a little too soft, but great for a comfortable street ride.
Most people stagger front and rear spring rates on rwd cars, the softer front helps with front end grip and the stiffer rear helps rotate the rear. Either way you go it will feel stiffer than the h&r's because they use linear springs not progressive
