One dumb question, how would I know if I threw a code. I'm guessing I'd get a check engine light/or other warning when the car is on? (which is not the case)
The bump was pretty hard, but I probably bottomed out the suspension and not the skid plate. I didn't hear any noise from under the car itself, but hard tell when things happen so fast.
A look again at the car didn't reveal much more, Though I watched the engine when putting it under load and it did torque. Hard to say if it was more than normal however.
Thoughts on driving in 8mi to a shop vs towing?
