FINALLY got a replacement controller/brain box for the AEM meth/water injection and installed it. I still have to correct the low fluid sensor position and run a power wire to my interior since I'll be installing a hidden power switch. Last time the system was on the whole time, and I went through the meth/water in 2 days. This time I won't use it on busy roads and in traffic.
So. I tested it. Ambient temperature was about 85*F, but once it kicked in, there was a noticeable boost in power that came on very smoothly and really made the top end much stronger. Definitely felt like 20-30rwhp boost.
Its set to progressively turn on at 2psi and run to 8psi. So it turns on around 3500rpm.
Very very happy I got it working again. When I had it working originally I didn't get the full effect because I was testing it in temps under 60*F. Now I feel it and it feels great. Now its time to schedule a dyno session in a few weeks
